Arrival and Dismissal
Arrival Instructions
There are two designated student drop-off areas for arrival.
- Starting at 6:30 AM, students may be dropped off at the Circle Drive, which provides access to the front doors.
- Beginning at 7:00 AM, students may also enter through the cafeteria doors from Tanglewilde Street.
- Please do not pull into the parking lot to drop off your students for safety purposes.
- Reminder: Instruction begins promptly at 8:00 AM each day. Please do your best to assist your child in getting to school on time.
Dismissal Instructions
There are multiple options for how students are dismissed each day.
- Walkers: These students are released without a guardian and are allowed to walk home.
- Parent Walk Up: These students are picked up by parents that walk to the campus to receive their child at the side gate. The student will not be released without a parent or guardian. To reduce congestion, we are that parents line up outside of the gate.
- Bus Riders: There are NO HISD buses for our campus. If parents choose to use one of the private bus companies, it is their responsibility to ensure that the school knows which bus the student will ride.
- Car Riders: There are 2 areas for students to dismiss for car riders. 2nd, 3rd, and carpoolers are in the front of the school. 4th and 5th are in the side of the school on Tanglewilde.
- Lansdale: Students that are signed up for the afterschool program at Lansdale park will be released to the afterschool teacher.
