Grading and Report Cards

In Houston ISD elementary schools, students are assessed on a six-week grading cycle, providing frequent feedback on academic progress and classroom performance. Families receive progress reports at the midpoint of each cycle and report cards at the end of each cycle.

🗓️ 2025–2026 Report Card Dates:

Report cards will be issued on the following dates, aligned with the end of each six-week cycle:

• Cycle 1 Report Card: Friday, September 26, 2025

• Cycle 2 Report Card: Monday, November 10, 2025

• Cycle 3 Report Card: Friday, January 9, 2026

• Cycle 4 Report Card: Friday, February 27, 2026

• Cycle 5 Report Card: Friday, April 24, 2026

• Cycle 6 Report Card: Friday, June 12, 2026

Note: Progress reports are typically issued around the 3rd week of each grading cycle. Please check with your child’s teacher or school for specific progress report dates.
